A community is defined by its members and that could be you.
At CUP we are interested in our community contributing towards how we function. We want our members to feel valued and invested in what we are doing and we want their specific needs to be met. If what you have discovered here excites and enthuses you and you would like to be part of our community, there are a variety of ways of doing this.
show interest in membership
It is very difficult to get investors to commit to projects in the arts without proving that a potential market is out there. By showing interest at this stage, you will be helping to make our vision a reality. By getting in contact and giving feedback you could have an impact on how our community functions and help to make it a success. Contact us for further details using the links at the foot of the page.
Interested but don't think you can spare a monthly fee?
At CUP we are a progressive thinking social enterprise and we aim to offer a limited number of memberships to low income families and young people in return for time/work exchange agreements. Contact us for further details using the links at the foot of the page.
Become a mentor
If you are a trained or graduate ceramicist and you are interested in becoming apart of the team, we offer a time/work exchange agreement. This involves working two sessions a week assisting members, cleaning, firing, working in the shop (whilst creating your own work when not in demand) in return for total access to our facilities 24/7. Contact us for further details using the links at the foot of the page.
We are a social enterprise aiming to benefit our local area and we value the currency of time and care. We will be relying on the local area to support us in our work and will have opportunities over the next year for volunteers to get involved. Contact us for further details using the links at the foot of the page.
