Explore the beginnings of glaze science over 4 weeks through theory and guided experimentation. Week 1: Introduction to glaze chemistry and ingredients Week 2: Glaze chemistry material breakdown Week 3: Introduction to more complex recipes and where to locate them Week 4: An explanation of further development techniques (Plus a practical session each week) Materials are provided, just bring curiosity and a P3 mask! This course is suitable for individuals with a familiarity of the glazing process, and course content is focused on stoneware mid-range glazes, but the theory can be applied to all glaze types. DATE AND TIME: Tuesday evenings from February 7th - 28th, 6-9pm
