Fancy pushing your handbuilding skills a bit farther? Learning a new handbuilding technique? In this six hour session you will learn how to make hollow bowls and dishes, using a mixture of press moulding and slab building techniques. Make a variety of forms using plaster moulds, joining them together in different ways to create a hollow bowl. Experiment with paper templates to make dishes. Much like cutting a pattern in dressmaking, the way the template is cut has a dramatic effect on the outcome, making each one unique. After tidying up the forms, explore different surfaces with some slip decoration. Materials are supplied, however prepping slabs in your preferred clay body is always and option DATE AND TIME: Sunday May 19th, 10-4pm Price includes one final item fired
