Service Description
Explore the beginnings of glaze science over 4 days through theory and guided experimentation. May 7th: Introduction to glaze chemistry and ingredients (making base glazes) May 14th: Glaze chemistry material breakdown (adding colourants) May 21st: Introduction to more complex recipes and where to locate them (special effects glazes) May 28th: An explanation of further development techniques (self guided development) There will be theory plus a practical session each day. Materials provided, just bring curiosity and a P3 mask! (P3 mask can be purchased from B&Q, Screwfix, or Amazon) DATE AND TIME: Wednesday evenings, September 17th - October 8th, 6-9pm £140, including all of your test tiles fired
