Wax resist willl repel glaze/ underglaze from the pot to which it was applied. The wax will burn off in the kiln leaving the pot unmarked.

It can be applied to greenware or bisque with a brush or sponge.

Apply one coat of resist, any double layers will become sticky. Any beads of glaze left on resisted areas must be cleaned away before firing or they will adhere to the pot.
