Introduction to Glazes

Service Description

Explore the beginnings of glaze science over 4 days through theory and guided experimentation. Week One: Introduction to glaze chemistry and ingredients (making base glazes) Week Two: Glaze chemistry material breakdown (adding colourants) Week Three: Introduction to more complex recipes and where to locate them (special effects glazes) Week Four: An explanation of further development techniques (self guided development) There will be theory plus a practical session each day. Materials provided, just bring curiosity and a P3 mask! (P3 mask can be purchased from B&Q, Screwfix, or Amazon) DATE AND TIME: Thursday evenings, February 4th-25th, 6-9pm £160, including all of your test tiles fired We accept Paypal payments at checkout, including Paypal Pay Later.
