March Introduction to Glazes

Service Description

Explore the beginnings of glaze science over 4 days through theory and guided experimentation. March 12th: Introduction to glaze chemistry and ingredients (making base glazes) March 19th: Glaze chemistry material breakdown (adding colourants) March 26th: Introduction to more complex recipes and where to locate them (special effects glazes) April 2nd: An explanation of further development techniques (self guided development) There will be theory plus a practical session each day. Materials provided, just bring curiosity and a P3 mask! (P3 mask can be purchased from B&Q, Screwfix, or Amazon) DATE AND TIME: Thursday evenings, March 12th- April 2nd, 6-9pm £160, including all of your test tiles fired
