Service Description

Get your hands muddy and bring animals to life in this playful 2 day intensive sculpture workshop with Pippin. Together we’ll explore how to sculpt expressive animal figures in clay, focusing on character, movement, and personality. Pippin will demonstrate their favourite hand-building techniques, including working with solid clay and hollowing out forms for firing. With plenty of tips, and one-on-one guidance, you’ll be supported as you shape, refine, and develop your own unique animal sculpture. Expect: Clay-covered hands Live demonstrations A deep dive into animal form and character. Be it bipedal or on all fours! Some previous hand-building experience is recommended, but you don’t need to be an expert—just curious, creative, and ready to have fun with clay. Clay and tools are provided, please bring along at least one reference picture of the animal you would like to sculpt. DATE AND TIME: Saturday May 2nd, 10-5pm AND Sunday 1-5pm Maximum participants: 12 There is a cafe onsite should you want refreshments or lunch. Price includes one final item fired
